Waste oil – the other side of the coin
Supplying you with very fancy oil dispensing systems is only one part of the business. We also have to show you ways how to remove used oil efficiently from a motor, a transmission or an axle.
Like always you have two choices: Either you drain waste oil or extract it from
a motor.
Draining, and this was certainly correct in the past, has the advantage to empty an oil sump completely including eventual impurities.The improved quality of motor oils and motors over the past years helped to reduce the contamination of the oil considerably. Therefore most of today’s cars only allow the extraction of waste oil via the dip stick opening.
Which waste oil equipment you fi nally use depends largely on the situation in your work-shop and on the cars you have to look after, e.g. if you have to drain the waste oil from an oil sump, you could use our „Collector” units which can take between 70 and 100l and which are very easy to empty by means of compressed air.
Extracting used oil from a motor can best be done with our „Extractor” units also holding between 70 and 100l of oil. This is certainly a very clean operation and you do not need a car hoist. Emptying these unit works in the same way like with the „Collector” units.
